As the 3M Earplug case moves through case management, pre-trial motions and discovery, there may not seem to be much information circulation on the progress of the case. Rest assured the case is moving along and we are staying focused on its progress. Nothing exciting to report, however, some recent and upcoming events include:
On September 21, 2020, the northern District of Florida revised deadlines for Group A Plaintiffs' Expert Disclosures to October 9, 2020, Defendants' Expert Disclosures to November 9, 2020, and Plaintiffs' Expert Rebuttals for November 19, 2020.
On October 2, 2020, the court set additional discovery deadlines for Groups C and D Plaintiff.
On October 10, 2020, the court ordered parties to submit their comprehensive briefs on which state law should apply to each Group A Plaintiffs on or before November 23, 2020.
On October 20, 2020, the court set multiple examinations of Group A Plaintiffs in October.
Further Case Management Conferences are set for November 20, 2020 and December 14, 2020.
